PSV misses Cody Gakpo and Marco van Ginkel against Maccabi Tel Aviv

Cody Gakpo and Marco van Ginkel will not participate with PSV on Thursday in the Conference League away game against Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Eindhoven team defend a 1-0 lead in Israel. Gakpo scored the winning goal in the home game.

The attacker dropped out on Sunday during the competition match against sc Heerenveen (3-1) with a minor ankle injury. Captain Van Ginkel, like third keeper Maxime Delanghe, remains at home because he still tested positive after a previous corona infection. According to Dutch guidelines, there is no longer any reason for isolation or restrictions, but traveling to Israel is only possible with a negative PCR test.

Coach Roger Schmidt has added some players from Jong PSV to his selection of 22 players for the game, which should result in a place in the eighth finals of the third European club tournament.
