PSV missed out on the Champions League

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven missed out on qualifying for the Champions League group stage.

After the 2-2 draw in the first leg, the team coached by Ruud van Nistelrooy, who took over from Roger Schmidt before the season, lost 0-1 (0-0) to Europa League finalists Glasgow Rangers in the second leg.

Antonio Colak scored the decisive goal for Rangers, who only lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties in the Seville final on May 18, on assists from former Bayern player Malik Tillman (60′).

FC Copenhagen from Denmark also qualified for the group stage. A 0-0 draw in the second leg against Turkish representative Trabzonspor was enough after the 2-1 win in the first leg.

The draw for the CL group stage will take place on Thursday (6 p.m. / DAZN) in Istanbul.
