Sergiño Dest made the 2-1 on Sunday evening in the final phase of the game with Go Ahead Eagles, which PSV produced the Johan Cruijff Scale. Dest found the win of his team. “Many players left, but also good players were added. As a team we have to get to know each other better. The American international was clear about his own role. “After my injury I am now at 95 percent. It has to be better in many areas, because it is still sloppy. That I make the winning goal is tasty. I want to be important for the team.”
Trainer Peter Bosz was ‘very happy’ afterwards with his fourth prize in Eindhoven service. He was critical of his team. “Go Ahead Eagles scored a good goal, we should have done that better. Looking at our chances, I thought the 0-1 rest position flattered. We should be better in the completion and be more concentrated to get the counter out. I always believed in it, we needed a little luck.”

During the competition it became clear that Luuk de Jong continues his career at FC Porto. For a long time Bosz had the hope that the striker would sign a new contract with PSV. “It’s a good person, that’s what it’s all about for me. I trust him and as a leader had a lot of contact with Luuk. As a Kopper he was the very best, but he can also play football very well. He certainly belongs to the best strikers with whom I have worked. I would have liked him, but I sincerely wish him all sporting successes.”
