The change number one of the upcoming transfer double pack at Paris Saint-Germain is perfect. Goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier comes from Ligue-1 competitor Losc and signed a five-year contract with the Champions League winner. After the 23-year-old, central defender Ilya Zabarnyi from AFC Bournemouth will also be expected in the French capital.

According to “L’équipe”, the transfer is 40 million euros exclusive bonuses. Chevalier is the fifth -tax goalkeeper in history. According to reports, additional payments of up to EUR 15 million are possible, which would catapult him to third place in this ranking. Chevalier leaves his youth club after 127 games in which he stayed 44 times without conceding a goal.

At PSG, Chevalier is the second new goalkeeper this summer after the 19-year-old Roma owner Renato Marin, who was hired free of charge. The squad of coach Luis Enrique currently includes five keepers, Arnau Tenas and the previous number one Gianluigi Donnarumma are still considered a candidate for departure. Chevalier, on the other hand, is to become the new goalkeeper. The perspective of the Matvey Safonov, who was only signed last summer, is also unclear in view of the new constellation in Paris. Chevalier is initially the second most valuable goalkeeper in the team behind Donnarumma with 30 million euros.
