The winner of the Champions League 2025 is called Paris Saint-Germain. The French clearly showed Inter Milan in the final of Munich.
With a furious appearance in the Munich Allianz Arena, Paris Saint-Germain won the final of the Champions League on Saturday evening and thus settled up by Europe’s crown. Against Inter Milan, the French top club won 5: 0 (2-0) and thus secured the first royal class title in his club’s history.
The man of the evening in the Bavarian capital was Désiré Doué. The 19-year-old put on ex-BVB star Achraf Hakimi’s lead (12th minute). Then he scored 2-0 (20th) a short time later, before making another goal in a one -sided final with another goal (63.). Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then added the fourth goal to (73.), Senny Mayulu even the fifth (86th).
Paris made it crash on the square from the start – according to coach Luis Enrique’s resolution. “We want to have fun and enjoy the incredible atmosphere,” said the coach and emphasized: “We have the mentality.” His eleven laced the opponent with her aggressive pressing style on the sixteen, Milan tried in vain to keep against it with Italian defense art and chain of five.
A sugar pass from the game maker Vitinha, on Wednesday with the same place with Portugal German semi-final opponents in the final Four of the Nations League, tore the defense network into pieces. The played Doué put on, Hakimi just had to insert. Because of his past at Inter, the scorer apologetically raised his hands instead of cheering.
This was done by the PSG fans, also in Paris: at the French Open, the scream of screings burst into the middle of a rallies at the match from Novak Djokovic. In the Prinzenpark, 500 meters away, 38,000 celebrated at home. In Munich in the north curve, the Ultra’s joy fire ignited, their favorites continued seamlessly the motto of the choreo (“Together we are unbeatable”).
Ousmane Dembélé lifted the inter-defense with a remarkable shift, Federico Dimarco falsified Doué’s shot unsustainable for the former Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer. Already after the 2-0 there was little doubt: after Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal would have to be surrendered.
Anyone who expected a Milan Sturm run in the second half was deceived. Nothing seemed left of the wild vehemence that had even succumbed to FC Barcelona. If Inter broke through, Marquinhos and the others brave themselves bravely.
This PSG can also fight – a big difference to the era of the superstars around Neymar and Lionel Messi. Doué put the lid on again after a fine pass from Vitinha, Kvaratskhelia and Mayulu added as if in intoxication.
