The next wave of PlayStation Plus games is on the horizon. The lineup announcement for the Extra and Premium subscription tiers is due soon, while the Essential titles have already been confirmed. We have gathered the date, time, and all the known details.

Sony generally adheres to a fixed schedule when announcing its monthly subscription games. This consistency allows players to anticipate the next reveals with some certainty. While there are occasional deviations from this routine as seen during special announcements like Days of Play, these instances are quite rare.

Upcoming Dates for July 2026

The new Extra and Premium titles are typically made available on the third Tuesday of the month. For July 2026, this date falls on July 21. Most often, the games are revealed the preceding Wednesday.

Expected Schedule:

  • Reveal: July 15, 2026, at 5:30 PM
  • Launch: July 21, 2026, at 10 AM

Fans have already identified one title set to join the Premium library: “Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy” was confirmed by Sony during the latest State of Play presentation.

Titles Leaving PS Plus in July 2026

As with every month, several titles will be leaving the catalog in July. Following some last-minute changes, the list initially comprised seven games, but with the addition of “The Jackbox Party Pack 9,” it has grown to eight. Players looking to complete their collections have until July 21, 2026, to do so. Here’s an overview of those titles:

Once these games leave the service, players will need to purchase them, potentially during sales on the PlayStation Store.

PS Plus Essential for July 2026: Available Titles

In contrast to Extra and Premium, the Essential lineup for July 2026 has been officially confirmed already. Subscribers are given three titles, all of which can be downloaded on both PS5 and PS4:

Included is “CrossCode,” an action role-playing game with a pixel art style, regularly priced at €19.99. The most expensive title in this selection is “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” retailing at €79.99, although it received a lukewarm reception from critics and gamers alike. The offering is rounded out by “For the King 2,” a tactical role-playing game priced at €24.99.

For those new to the PlayStation universe: PlayStation Plus is divided into three tiers—Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential primarily provides monthly games and online access, while Extra and Premium offer an extensive game catalog. The Premium tier further enhances this access with classic titles and streaming options.
