‘Proud’ Michael van Gerwen to quarter-finals after victory over Jeffrey de Graaf, Luke Littler survives tough test

This year’s Darts World Cup is full of surprises, but Michael van Gerwen (35) is not participating in that for the time being. The three-time world champion made it exciting against the Dutch Swede Jeffrey de Graaf (34), but for the eleventh time in his career Mighty Mike is in the last eight of the world: 4-2. The 17-year-old darts phenomenon Luke Littler is also still competing for the world title.
