FOOTBALL – Protos will descend to the 4th division next year. The team from Steenwijksmoer today lost 3-2 to VV Sweel while direct competitor USV from Nieuwleusen won 3-2 against Dwingeloo. Sweel maintained his position in the 3rd division with the win.
On the last match day of the 3rd division D, four more teams were eligible to play the playoffs. Sweel, Olyphia, Protos and USV. A victory over Protos would be enough for Sweel to play safe and the team from Zweeloo seized the opportunity with both hands.
