The editorial staff of the Italian newspaper ‘La Stampa’ was attacked by a group of several dozen demonstrators on Friday. They took part in a pro-Palestine demonstration in Turin, but deviated from the route and entered the newsrooms, where they caused destruction. The attack was widely condemned in Italy on Saturday. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called the editor-in-chief to express her support.
