A protest at a lecture by MR chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez in the center of Liège got out of hand on Wednesday evening. Around 8 p.m., a group of demonstrators climbed the steps to the entrance of the city hall and tried to force the door open. Other demonstrators threw projectiles at the building, shattering several windows. That’s what RTBF writes. The police quickly intervened and used water cannon to drive the demonstrators from the square.
