As the media group ProSiebenSat.1 Media announced, the participation of the PPF Group, which is attributable to Renata Kellnerova, is a good 9 percent. “PPF is convinced that the digital transformation of ProSieben will create value for all shareholders,” said the PPF Group separately on their website. The company is looking forward to working with ProSieben’s management and supervisory board on the digital transformation.
PPF describes itself as an active investor in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. PPF’s Central European Media Enterprises (CME) operates several television and online media companies in Central and Southeastern Europe.
The largest shareholder of ProSieben is the Italian media holding MFE-Mediaforeurope (formerly Mediaset). According to earlier information, including derivatives, the company has access to 29.01 percent of the voting rights.
After the trading day, the papers of the media group ProSiebenSat.1 Media on Tradegate temporarily gained 0.92 percent to EUR 9.63.
