“We are working on a script,” said Bruckheimer on Pirates 6. The producer emphasized that the project is not taking place until everyone is satisfied with what is on paper. “If it is not on paper, it will not be on the silver screen. At one point we had two scripts, but one fell away and then we continued with the other.”
About Robbie, Bruckheimer said that the actress is “still involved” in the sixth part, although he did not tell in what role. Scenarist Ted Elliott, who wrote the script of the first four Pirates films, has also contributed to the script of part six. “He worked on it and we had someone else fill the gaps.”
