Shyena, 14 Nov. (askanews) – A project that aims to combine art and redemption, creation and awareness: it is “Along the Path of Art and the Soul – Made in Prison wears #ANNA”, a visual story by the photographer Elisabetta Gazziero, who portrayed Anna Fielbal, French model and student at the EIDM campus in Lille and with her also the scientist Maude Jimenez Mermillon, teacher in Lille, with clothes and accessories Made in Carcere, an ethical brand founded by Luciana Delle Donne.

Photography, fashion and redemption: the project “Made in Prison wears #ANNA”

The “Made in Prison Method/Model” allows women, men and minors in detention, who live on the margins of society, to work, rebuilding awareness and human dignity. The activity also recovers unused and discarded fabrics from companies which become the raw material for prison manufacturing and a symbol of a second chance. The photographic shots were taken on the Path of Art and Soul of Pienza, created by the FUR Foundation, chaired by the Swiss patron Urs Rechsteiner, and they tell of dignity and rebirth, underlining how every stitch is an act of freedom.

Dignity is rebirth: every stitch an act of freedom

“Made in Carcere dresses #ANNA”, wishes to celebrate the transformative power of art and the beauty that comes from the freedom to be oneself. And it stands as an invitation to look at the soul through matter, and to believe that every story, even the most fragile, can be reborn in light.
