Priscilla Presley has questioned the “authenticity and validity” of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s will after she encountered alleged inconsistencies. She refers to allegedly contradictory details and an unusual signature.

Lisa Marie set up a trust in 1993, using her mother and former manager Barry Siegel as trustees of her assets. The document can serve as a will if no separate document exists at the time of death. Priscilla is now criticizing changes made in 2016. This relieved her and Siegel of responsibility, but Lisa Marie’s children, Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020, were appointed as new trustees.

Lots of disagreements

Priscilla was not informed about the changes at the time. In addition, her name was misspelled and her daughter’s signature “doesn’t match her usual signature,” the report said “independent”. According to her lawyers, the revision of the document was neither witnessed nor notarized. The 77-year-old now wants to have the changes declared invalid by a court. Sigel intends to step down from his post, which would place Priscilla and her granddaughter Keough as trustees.

Lisa Marie Presley passed away on January 12 after being rushed to a hospital for heart failure. Priscilla Presley gave the cause of death as cardiac arrest. Officially, the investigations are still ongoing – a coroner called for further medical tests after her death. A public memorial service was held publicly on January 22 in the garden of the family’s Graceland estate.
