In an interview, Priscilla Presley, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, talked about her marriage to the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” as well as past and planned film projects.
The two were married from 1967 to 1973 until they divorced in 1973. In 1968 their daughter Lisa Marie was born. Priscilla Presley talks about the time together in an interview with “NME” and talks about her planned tour in 2023, among other things:
The 2023 “Evening with Priscilla Presley” tour is fast approaching
Priscilla Presley will be embarking on the UK ‘Evening with Priscilla Presley’ tour in 2023, she announced. She wants to show private insights and pictures, as well as talk about her career and life with Elvis Presley, the “King of Rock’n’Roll” who died in 1977.
She adds, “It took me some time to get to this point and feel comfortable sharing so much with listeners. I want to protect Elvis and Graceland and our lives. It will be more about the man Elvis than the entertainer. We all know he was a great entertainer, but I’m going to talk about behind-the-scenes things and what his fears and favorite topics were.”

Harry Styles had expressed interest in the role of Elvis Presley in the new documentary “Elvis” (2022) to director Luhrmann, but his request was turned down. When asked about her opinion on the film adaptation, Presley says she was excited about it. During the research, Elvis’ ex-wife invited director Baz Luhrmann to her home and spoke to him for four hours. Austin Butler, who then plays Elvis Presley in the documentary, did a wonderful and very authentic job, she adds.

Based on her book Elvis and Me: The True Story of the Love Between Priscilla Presley and the King of Rock N’ Roll (1986), Presley is currently working with director Sofia Coppola on a film adaptation. Cailee Spaeny will take on her role in it. There is no trailer yet.
