Barcelona / Madrid (AP) – Real Madrid has extended the lead in the Primera División.
The leader of the highest Spanish football league won 1-0 (0-0) against Granada FC on Sunday evening thanks to a goal by Marco Asensio (74th minute). Real are now 53 points ahead of Sevilla FC (47), who only drew 0-0 at CA Osasuna.
FC Barcelona had clearly won the top game in the Spanish league against Atlético Madrid. The Catalans prevailed 4: 2 (3: 1) against the team from the capital. Guest striker Yannick Carrasco was able to defeat keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Barcelona goal in the eighth minute. But for Barcelona, Jordi Alba (10′), Gavi (21′) and Ronald Araujo (43′) scored before the break. After the change, the Brazilian Dani Alves (49th) made the preliminary decision.
