Prime Minister Rutte and other big names heard about Groningen gas file next week

Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Deputy Prime Minister Wopke Hoekstra must state under oath next week about their role in the Groningen gas file. The parliamentary committee of inquiry investigating gas extraction will hold its final public hearings next week. In addition, the committee is questioning Shell boss Ben van Beurden and NAM chief Johan Atema. Former ministers Eric Wiebes and Stef Blok are also heard, as well as State Secretary Hans Vijlbrief, who now deals with mining.
