Prime Minister Rutte and Finance Minister Kaag will participate in the G20 Compact with Africa Summit in Berlin, Germany on Monday, November 20. The summit, which is taking place for the fifth time, aims to strengthen economic cooperation between African and G20 countries.
During the summit, Prime Minister Rutte and Minister Kaag will participate in various working sessions on economic cooperation and climate. They also have meetings with their African colleagues.
The Compact with Africa program is an initiative of Germany and aims to improve the investment climate and strengthen the economies of African countries that are part of this program. This concerns Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, Togo and Tunisia.
