The Primavera Sound Festival has announced the line-up for 2023. Headliners include rapper Kendrick Lamar, synth duo Pet Shop Boys, Britpop band Blur and synthpop legends Depeche Mode. The latter will go on tour next year – with their new album MEMENTO MORI – for the first time in five years. Also announced are the Italian ESC winners Måneskin, singer Halsey and DJ Calvin Harris.
In addition to well-known, established musicians, the Primavera Festival also invites young acts from various music genres, such as the rappers Baby Keem and JPEGMafia, the K-pop girl group Red Velvet, dance producer Fred again and singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin.
The Primavera Sound Festival will take place in Barcelona from June 1st to June 3rd 2023, the sister festival in Madrid from June 8th to June 10th. The festivals have identical line-ups, with minor differences – only in Barcelona, for example, do Swedish heavy metal band Ghost and indie rock band The War on Drugs play. Sparks and The Mars Volta will be shown in Madrid.
Advance sales for day and combination tickets begin on December 1, 2022.
