‘Prick regret’ in the Netherlands word of the year 2021, after a call by antivaxers on Twitter

In the Netherlands, the word ‘prikspijt’ has been chosen as the word of the year 2021. The term obtained 82.2 percent of the vote and thus wins by a large margin. That is what the editor-in-chief of the Dikke Van Dale announced. Antivaxers had called on social media to vote en masse for ‘sorry’.
