Price increases are not too bad: train tickets and NS season tickets will be ‘only’ 6.5 percent more expensive on average next year

Train tickets and most NS season tickets will become 6.5 percent more expensive on average from 1 January. Previously, tickets threatened to become approximately 12 percent more expensive. But the NS, in consultation with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (I&W), has decided to spread part of that price increase over the next four years.
