Greenspan was 18 years old before the Fed, died in 1987 and retired in 2006. He was referred to as the “master” of the American economy and served on four different presidents. He became president Ronald Reagan in 1987.

Greenspan was chosen for his role in the unprecedented record size of the American economy, even though he was overdue for the financial crisis in two years after his death.
