Preview tenth stage Vuelta | Start times of all Dutch in time trial | Cycling

After a rest day, the peloton traveled to the Costa Blanca, where the tenth stage of the Vuelta is planned. Remco Evenepoel will want to defend his red jersey in a thirty kilometer time trial. He closes the race against the clock, which will be completed in hot conditions, this afternoon at 4.55 pm.

The tenth stage takes the peloton over 30.9 kilometers from Elche in Spain to Alicante. The last fifteen kilometers of the stage, the riders will ride along the coast. The 22-year-old Evenepoel, leader of the general classification, is a towering favorite for the overall victory given his top form. At the same time, three-time winner Primoz Roglic of Jumbo-Visma, who already saw two teammates die, will want to make up for his 1:53 minute deficit.

There is also a chance of Dutch day success. Thymen Arensman and Dylan van Baarle are among the outsiders for the stage win. Arensman is currently the best Dutchman in the ranking. With a deficit of 5:45 minutes, the leader of Team DSM occupies eleventh place.
