Pressure on care greater than expected: 12,000 corona patients were cared for at home

Since the start of the corona pandemic, more than twelve thousand corona patients have been treated at home in the Netherlands. The so-called telemonitoring patients received oxygen and home care in their own home. Although they did receive intensive care, the patients were never recorded as hospitalizations.
