“Given the geopolitical consequences of the war against Iran, which is destabilizing Europe’s economies, member states can no longer afford to stand idly by and only criticize Jerusalem’s policies. There will never be unity on this issue, but a partial suspension of the agreement, limited to the trade area, would only require a qualified majority rather than unanimity. With this step, the EU should dare to reorient itself towards Israel.”/DP/jha
