“The EU Commission’s proposal for the limit values does not recommend any concrete measures to improve air quality. European cities have tried different transport concepts – from the London inner city toll to free local transport in Luxembourg, exclusive lanes for carpooling in Great Britain and Spain to the wide bicycle – Expressways in Amsterdam. European local politicians should exchange their experiences on which of these concepts, in addition to e-mobility, contribute to air pollution control.
