She moderated everything from motor sports to winter sports. Now, however, Valeska Homburg is turning her back on public television. She finds her new job at a Bundesliga club.

The experienced TV journalist Valeska Homburg will take over as head of the media and PR department at Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen on July 1, 2022. Like press spokesman Dirk Mesch, she will report directly to the Director of Communications, Holger Tromp.

“I’m very grateful for 20 years at ARD and I’m looking forward to my new role at Bayer 04 Leverkusen starting in the summer,” said the 46-year-old, who reported on the World Cup and the Olympic Games, among other things, and also as a communications officer -Trainer worked.
