The National Football Team entered the camp in Istanbul today for the matches it will play against Bulgaria and Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers and carried out its first training.
The training, which took place at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities under the management of Coach Vincenzo Montella, started with the training preparations in the fitness center. Later, the players came to the field and after warming up, they practiced passing and dribbling. The training ended with aerobic runs. A group of football players who played with their club teams yesterday did not participate in the training on the field and did renovation work in the fitness room.
Eren Elmalı did not attend today’s training due to his cautious transfer to PFDK, Arda Güler and Salih Özcan due to their travel schedules, and Oğuz Aydın due to his leave. TFF General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz also watched the Crescent and Stars’ work today.
The national team will continue their preparations for the Bulgaria and Spain matches with a training session closed to the press tomorrow at 16.30.
