Premier League: “Wolves” beat Tottenham in stoppage time

As of: November 11, 2023 9:42 p.m

Tottenham Hotspur missed the jump back to first place in the Premier League. Two goals in stoppage time prevented Wolverhampton from winning. Arsenal FC won.

Pablo Sarabia (90+1) and Mario Lemina (90+6) ensured the hosts’ late 2-1 (0-1) win on Saturday (11/11/2023), making them the second top team this season have beaten. Six weeks ago the “Wolves” already Manchester City (2:1) defeated.

The hosts rewarded themselves with their late goals for a strong performance after having been behind for almost the entire game. Shortly after kick-off Brennan Johnson the “Spurs” took the lead (3rd), after which coach Ange Postecoglu’s team hardly had any good offensive actions. Even before Sarabia and Lemina scored, the “Wolves” had missed a number of good opportunities.
