Prada has given its area in KaDeWe a new look. In addition to the installation in the store itself, a shop window of the luxury department store has also been designed in the new design concept.

The installation will be set up by the end of April. The design was inspired by distant lands and a modern, pop-cultural aesthetic, the Italian fashion house announced last Monday.

Geometric stripe patterns are the main element of the store design. Different colors and widths create a visual effect that allows the exterior and interior design of the area to flow into one another. The stripes can also be found in the designs of the clothing and accessories – floor-length shirt dresses, flowing skirts and loose shirts with a Hawaiian cut continue to pick up on the tropical atmosphere. Raffia and braided bags and colorful versions of the signature Prada bucket hat further enhance the installation’s holiday flair.

In addition to summery striped looks, an animated video can be seen in the shop window that shows a tree on whose branches colorful Prada hats are hanging like fruit. Green suitcases, floral motifs and leaves complete the picture.
