Rui Vitória is the new national coach of the football players of Egypt. The 52-year-old Portuguese signed a four-year contract.
Vitória is already the third national coach of Egypt this year, which failed to qualify for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. Vitória succeeds Ehab Galal, who was sacked after three games last month. Carlos Queiroz, a fellow countryman of Vitória, was Galal’s predecessor.
Egypt lost in February in the Africa Cup final after penalties against Senegal.
