Portuguese Nani ends football career in Australia

Luis Nani ends his football career in Australia. The 35-year-old Portuguese winger, who played for Manchester United from 2007 to 2014, has signed a two-year contract with Melbourne Victory.

“We are proud to have signed a player like Nani and believe he will be an incredible asset to Melbourne Victory and the entire A-League,” said Melbourne Victory coach Tony Popovic. “He has had an impressive career at both club and international level. We believe his quality and experience are key to achieving our ambitions this season.”

Nani, who played 112 international matches for Portugal, also played for Sporting Portugal, Fenerbahçe, Valencia and Lazio in addition to Manchester United.
