NITRO is expanding its range of motor sports: the new TV home of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.
Exciting sprints and tough duels with equal technical opportunities – that’s the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, the oldest one-make cup in the world.
In 2022, NITRO will be the new home of the Porsche one-make cup on free TV, further expanding its extensive motorsport portfolio. In the future, the men’s channel will show all races of the prestigious championship live and in full length on race weekends of the ADAC GT Masters.
In addition, racing fans can follow the competition in full on RTL+ in the live stream and on demand. The Porsche Carrera Cup starts six times on race weekends of the International German GT Championship.
NITRO always broadcasts the races on Saturdays and Sundays directly after the GT3 series from 2:30 p.m. In addition, ntv provides information in five editions of “PS Porsche Carrera Cup” (1st episode May 28, 12:10 p.m.) about the racing series in 22-minute highlight summaries.
At the start, teams and drivers can expect not only the traditional circuit, but also the longest route on this year’s racing calendar: From May 5th to 7th, the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland will start its 33rd year at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps as part of the WEC Endurance World Championship .season. Fans can follow the start on RTL+ on Friday, May 6th, from 5:20 p.m. The subsequent Saturday run can also be seen on NITRO from 10:55 a.m. on free TV at the start of the season.
