About 17-20% of Russians are asymptomatic with coronavirus, Anna Popova, head of Rospotrebnadzor, said in an interview. “RIA News”.

“Across the country, the share of asymptomatic forms ranges from 17 to 20%,” Popova said.

According to her, among Muscovites, about 40% of patients do not have symptoms of the virus.

Earlier, on January 31, Denis Protsenko, chief physician of hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka, reported that the omicron variant of the coronavirus differs from others in its rapid course and significantly fewer cases of pneumonia.
