“I think it’s very beautiful and cool that mom wrote that. It’s about being yourself, with or without a disability,” says Brandon proudly.
Tina did not originally write the story with a book publication in mind. “It actually started as a small Christmas present,” she says. “I wrote it for him and put it on the Christmas tree. A book of ten pages, very small. He was very happy with that. But my girlfriend secretly sent it to a publisher, and that started the ball rolling.”
