Pope calls on Catholics to be less afraid of Islam: fears are being fueled according to Leo XIV

Pope Leo XIV has called on Catholics concerned about the Christian character of the West to be “less afraid” of Islam. He stated this to journalists on board the plane that takes him from Beirut back to Rome. He advocated coexistence and friendship between Christians and Muslims in Europe.
