The house was raided by the police on Wednesday, after a Hoofddorp woman was kidnapped on her way to work in the morning. A police spokesperson confirmed to NH on Wednesday evening that they had raided the house following the kidnapping.
In order not to hinder the investigation, the police are not making any statements about a possible link between the kidnapped woman and the invaded house on the Oosterschelde. The woman lived only two streets away and disappeared without a trace between her home and her work in Beverwijk.
The property papers of both addresses show that the residents have the same surname, which is common in India. In addition, their Indian birthplaces are only a few dozen kilometers apart, in the state of Punjab.
