The lookout tower in Riethoven in the municipality of Bergeijk was destroyed by four young people. Some time ago – on Thursday November 7 – the boys set off heavy fireworks, which damaged the tower. The police are looking for the young people and have therefore distributed camera images in which they can be seen recognisably.
The incident took place more than a month ago. None of the boys have come forward so far, forcing the police to share the camera images.
The police post the images on Instagram:
Waiting for privacy settings…
The tower is still brand new. The observation tower was only officially opened to the public in June. On top of the wooden tower with spiral staircase in the Einderheide forest area, visitors can look out over the surrounding area from a height of 26 meters.
Do you recognize one of the young people in the image? Report this to the police via 0900-8844, a private message or anonymously via 0800-7000.
