Police smash front door with battering ram after possible hostage situation: ‘This is a raid! Lying down!’

Two men and a woman were arrested in Almelo on Saturday, on suspicion of involvement in a serious violent incident. They allegedly held and assaulted a 37-year-old man in a home against his will. The house is sealed, the three are incarcerated for the time being. “We have suspected for years that something is not right here.”
