Police shoot man (32) who threatens ex with an ax in Kapellen: man died in hospital

The police shot a 32-year-old man on Antwerpsesteenweg in Kapellen in Antwerp on Sunday afternoon. According to the first information, the man went to seek redress from his ex and he had an ax with him. He then attacked the police. The man was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died. The public prosecutor’s office confirms this.
