Two boys who stole the ears of a 13-year-old boy in the hall of an ATM in Haarlem in early December have still not reported to the police. Were last weekunrecognizable images of them, now the police have decided to release the unblurred images.
On Friday afternoon, December 6, around 5:30 p.m., the duo enters the hall of an ATM on Grote Houtstraat in Haarlem. The location is equipped with eight security cameras, so the suspects are clearly visible.
Unsafe feeling
In the hall they threaten and intimidate a 13-year-old boy. The victim is pushed and pulled, after which his keys and telephone are taken. He will eventually get this back.
One of the boys then grabs the victim’s Apple earphones from his pocket and takes them with him. Even when a bystander later approaches them about the stolen AirPods, this remains without effect. The boys don’t mind it and continue walking quietly.
The victim still feels very unsafe after the incident. “I am very shocked by what happened. I don’t understand why someone would just do this. I hope the boys are arrested and punished for what they did.”
