The Mossos d’Esquadra and the Guàrdia Urbana from Barcelona have deployed a joint operating in eight properties in the area of the Zona Franca, in the Sants-Montjuic district of Barcelona, against a criminal group that is allegedly dedicated to the marijuana trafficking and that it manages inland plantations of that drug.

As the Catalan police have informed Efe, most of the properties that are targeted by the operation are floors located in the Free Trade Zone, and various arrests of alleged members of the criminal group.
One of the records, reported the Mossos d’Esquadra, it was carried out in Guadalete street, in the Marina de Port neighborhood.
