Police judge is angry with ‘Bar Goens’: “It is time for people to wake up in this country”

In Bar Goens, police judges Sophie Lodewyckx and Geert Vandaele spoke out their support last night for their Ghent colleague Miguel Ureel. Yesterday he suggested quite a few files that were on the role in the Ghent police court to April 28, 2026 in protest against what he describes as an “unacceptable situation” within the judiciary.
