Several car windows were destroyed in the Emmerschans district in Emmen last night. It is not known how many windows were destroyed. The police speak of ‘a large number’.
The destruction came to light around 3:20 am. A lot of damage was caused to parked cars on the Ravelijn, a street in Emmerschans.
It is unknown whether the vehicles were stolen. Both passenger cars and company vans were targeted by the actions.
The police are investigating the vandalism and are walking through Emmen today to measure the damage. As far as we know, no one has been arrested yet.
