The 61-year-old man was found unwell at the Hof van Blois on Sunday, December 8 between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. After emergency services arrived, the victim was transported to hospital. A few days later, on Friday December 13, the man died from his injuries.
The police announced today that the victim appeared to have serious injuries. Due to the suspicion of a possible crime, a large-scale investigation has been launched into the man’s death.
People who saw something at the Hof van Blois in Zaandam between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. are called upon to share their information with the police. The victim is said to have left on foot earlier that morning between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the direction of Ereprijsweg. Camera images from the area are also welcome.
