The police have now removed the man from the house in E. Ludenstraat. He was taken care of by ambulance personnel, a police spokesperson confirmed.

Photos that NH has seen show him lying on a stretcher. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

As of 10 a.m. this morning, an arrest team was in the neighborhood to remove the man from his home. A drone hung above the street, which the police used to monitor the area.

Also in October 2024 and in March this year the police were busy with the man for a large part of the day. In March he threatened to harm himself. According to local residents, he was waving knives, but the police could not confirm this at the time.

Also injured during previous arrest

He was slightly injured during his arrest in March. This was also treated and transferred to the care team. He reportedly returned to the home, where he lives with his father, a month later.

Local residents said at the time that the man was psychotic. An immediate neighbor said she became desperate for the man. “When will this stop? What will happen? I’ll get a knife between my ribs or whatever? He’s unpredictable.”
