Police flyer looking for missing Thomas in Groningen

The police in the city of Groningen will be distributing flyers on Tuesday afternoon in the search for missing Thomas van Zeewijk Vink.

Police and friends of the man will hand out flyers throughout that search area on Tuesday. The police are looking for tips and camera images, such as doorbell cameras, to get a good overview of the route. A number of tips have already been received, a spokeswoman said.

25-year-old Thomas van Zeewijk Vink left his work in the Kattenhage just after midnight on the night of Friday to Saturday. He was then seen for the last time in the vicinity of the UMCG around 1:30 am. The police assume that the man then went to the area near the Van Starkenborgh Canal.

Since the man disappeared, the search for him has been using watercraft, a helicopter, drones and dogs. About thirty volunteers from SAR Netherlands also help.
