Police arrest man with 242 bottles of laughing gas in his car | Interior

Agents had tracked down the illegal transport following a tip, the police said via Instagram on Monday evening. The message on the social medium also included a photo of the enormous amount of bottles that emerged from the vehicle.

The driver of the car turned out to have a suspended sentence due to an earlier transport of nitrous oxide that, according to the police, did not meet the requirements. Since 1 January this year, possession of laughing gas has been made punishable under the Opium Act.

The police seized the bottles and the man’s vehicle. The driver has been arrested and is being questioned by detectives.
