New York police are looking for American rapper Travis Scott. The police want to talk to Scott about a nightclub altercation he was allegedly involved in.
The situation happened on Wednesday, March 1, a little before half past four in the morning.
The NYPD confirmed to the news site E News that Scott is accused of causing more than €11,330 worth of damage to a speaker and video screen. In addition to this, the rapper had gotten into a big verbal altercation with another person who was in the nightclub.
The situation ended with the rapper punching another person on the left side of the face, breaking the nightclub’s property and fleeing the scene.
The victim was a 52-year-old man. No first aid was needed at the scene, says a spokesperson for the New York police.

Scott’s lawyer Mitchell Schuster states that he is absolutely certain that Scott will be acquitted of all charges.
– Although the situation in question is a complete misunderstanding and it has grown to disproportionately large proportions, we will do everything we can with the nightclub and the authorities to resolve this. I am sure that my client will be acquitted of all charges, Schuster states.
The CEO of the Club Nebula nightclub also commented on the incident.

Just an hour before visiting the nightclub, Scott was a special guest at a concert by rap artist Don Toliver. Scott’s next concert is in California on March 4th. The rapper’s close circle says that his team is doing “everything to solve the problem” so that the artist could perform.
