An evening out on November 2 in Breda ended in serious assault for three friends. Two women and a man were walking towards their car in the De Barones parking garage after going out, when they were attacked by four men in Tolbrugstraat. Images of the abuse were shown in Bureau Brabant.
CCTV footage shows the three friends walking arm in arm and being overtaken by four running men. Although there was plenty of room to pass them, the men ran straight through the group.
When the friends said something about this, the men turned and surrounded them. The three were verbally abused and pushed. One of the women was grabbed and kicked hard in the body. After she fell to the ground, she was beaten further. The other woman and the man were also abused.
The four stopped and fled when people came out of a nearby cafe. The suspects are all around 20 years old, have short dark hair and were wearing jeans and sneakers. One of them was wearing a blue sweater. So far there is no trace of the suspects. The police are calling on people who know more to come forward.
